Check Your Internet Speed

  1. Minimise Citrix or DPS OneOffice, or sign out of the session completely.

  2. On your local desktop, open a web browser.

  3. Go to an internet speed test website.

  4. Click Go to start the test.

  5. Review the download speed shown in the results.

📌 Note: The minimum recommended download speed is 10 Mbps. A lower speed may cause slowness or disconnections in your Citrix session.

If the download speed is at least 10 Mbps, continue with the response time test below.

Check Your Response Time

  1. Make sure you are working outside Citrix or DPS OneOffice.

  2. Click Start in the bottom-left corner of your local desktop.

  3. Type cmd, then click Command Prompt.

  4. Enter the following command, then press Enter:

ping www.google.com -t

  1. Allow the test to run for approximately one minute.

  2. Review the response lines shown in the Command Prompt window.

  3. Check the value shown after time=, which is measured in milliseconds.

⚠️ Important: A response time above 50 ms, even on a single line, may indicate a problem with your internet connection.

If you see spikes above 50 ms, or the response time remains consistently above 50 ms, contact your internet service provider.
