Placing Orders with the Index PI integration

Note: Searches and Reports ordered outside of DPS will not be returned to the Fee Earners case file once completed. E-Chits will not be automatically generated and sent through to the accounts department.


To place orders with the Index PI Integration, follow the steps below:

  1. From the case file, click Actions and select Online Search โ€“Index PI.

  2. The next screen to load will be the Online Search Submission which will show the property details from the file you are doing this from. If required, change the Search Type to the relevant option.

  3. Once you are happy with the information, click Submit.

  4. A message is displayed advising the user has been authenticated and have been automatically logged on to the Index PI secure portal. Click OK.

  5. The Index Property Information secure portal web page for new orders is displayed with the property details already complete.Select the searches / reports required and click Confirm Order.

  6. Click Close on the Thank You message.

  7. The e-Chits for the transactions will be generated and sent through to the accounts for processing.
