Case user does not have e-chits option available under User Menu or Accounts button in matters Case

It's likely, that the user is not set to have FD functions enabled on their DPS setup. Please follow the steps below, which should resolve the issue:

Note: A supervisor profile is required in order to complete the steps below.

  1. From the DPSSQLConfig, click on the Advanced tab.

  2. Click on Open DPSSETUP.INI in the navigation pane.

  3. Scroll down to [Modules], under this section, there should be a row stating FD=0 if there is, change this to FD=1. If there is no reference to FD=0 then add a new row as FD=1.

  4. Click File and Save.

  5. Close then Re-open DPS and e-chit option should appear.
