VAT Return no open obligation available

The message on your VAT return, "No open obligation available, VAT liability view mode only."
This message means that HMRC have not yet generated an open obligation Vat period and you cannot post and submit your next VAT return.
You will need to contact HMRC directly. It can take 3 to 7 days for them to open your next VAT return.
When HMRC have opened your next VAT quarter, the message will disappear.
