Legal Customer Support Channels

Getting support for your Legal products is easy.

As you will be aware, we launched the Access Digital Assistant in March 2026. This is the quickest and easiest way to get help. If you are an entitled contact, you can ask a question through the Digital Assistant via the MyAccess Portal, giving you access to support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our teams are also available between 08:00 and 18:00, Monday to Friday, should you need additional assistance.

We kindly ask that you try this channel first wherever possible, as we are continually enhancing and expanding the support content available to you. Your use of these tools supports our ongoing commitment to improving the customer experience

All software users can also access the dedicated Help Centre for One Office.

Should you need to contact us by phone, Legal Support has a single dedicated telephone number: 01206 696430.

If you have any old support numbers saved, please disregard them and ensure you use the number above going forward.

When calling, please listen carefully to the available options and select the one for your product. This will help ensure you are connected to the correct support team as quickly as possible.

As mentioned above, our digital channels are often the fastest and most convenient way to access support.

Important CJSM changes due in mid-August

You may have seen in our recent email that the Ministry of Justice is changing how CJSM emails can be accessed. Here's a reminder of what this means and what you may need to do.

What's changing?

From mid-August 2026, CJSM emails will no longer be accessible via POP3 in Outlook. Instead, everyone will need to use the CJSM portal directly (cjsm.net) to read and send CJSM emails.

What does this mean for you?

For Most Users (including our hosted clients)

If you usually check your CJSM email using the CJSM web portal or plan to do so, no action is needed other than to make sure you are familiar with the portal.

If you use Outlook to receive your CJSM e-mails,we've put together a step-by-step guide on how to use the CJSM portal.

We strongly recommend that all users read this document.

For our non-hosted/On-prem customers

If you use POP3 to connect CJSM emails automatically to another system (such as Outlook, etc), or your own Microsoft Exchange server. You may need to make changes to avoid any disruption.

If you are unsure or know you rely on POP3 automation, please contact the CJSM Helpdesk before the proposed mid-August change over, for personalised support to help you make the necessary changes:

Next Steps

  1. Read the guide on how to use the CJSM portal.

  2. If you think you may be affected, please contact the CJSM helpdesk as soon as possible.

We are here to help make this transition as smooth as possible. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need assistance or have any questions.

Why file closure matters: avoiding risks and strengthening compliance

In her latest article, Diana Borlea, Risk and Compliance Associate, explores why file closure should receive the same level of attention as client onboarding, helping firms strengthen compliance, reduce risk and ensure matters are concluded appropriately.
