Before you start changing/editing any screens you need to make sure you have been set up on the system as a Supervisor, If not you will not be able to edit any screens.

If you are set up on the system as a Supervisor, you will be able to add a variable to a screen by following the steps below:

  1. Open the screen you want to amend.

  2. Right click on the screen and select Screen Designer. When you have selected Screen Designer you will notice that the screen changes.

  3. Right click on the screen to bring up the options.Select Add/View Fields.

  4. Tick On Screen to bring in an existing field or select New to create a new field. When creating new variables, users will use numbers 3001-3449 (some applications may vary).

  5. When finished, click OK. You will then get a message asking if you want to add this field to the screen. This will take you back to the screen with the newly added variable, you will need to drag them to the correct position within the DPS screen.
