Please check the formatting of each Excel column is set correctly. In this instance the Description columns was formatted to Number, but should be General format.
Columns Format Key:
A - NominalRef = General
B - Description = General
C - Debit = Number*
D - Credit = Number*
*Number format should contain 2 decimal places and no 1000 separators.
