Macro not working in Word

If you're having an issue with your macro either a run time error is showing, your macro has gone missing or need macros added for a new user then please follow the below steps.

  1. Open Word.

  2. Click on View.

  3. Click Macros.

  4. Click View Macros.

  5. Click on Organizer.

  6. Click Close file on the right-hand side.

  7. Click on Open file on the right-hand side.

  8. Look on the left-hand side and go to X: drive.

  9. Search for Macro which is a .dotm file for example Normal.dotm

  10. Double click the macro.

  11. On the left-hand side under 'Macro Project items available in' choose Normal.dotm.

  12. Move the items from right to left using copy.

  13. Click Close.

Note: The normal.dotm should be at least 20kb size or more.
