If you are having issues accessing a matter, it could be due to a multitude of reasons, please see below as applicable:
You do not have permissions to access this application
Ensure that the user has the correct DPS Applications assigned to them.
Have your DPS Supervisor open the DPSSQL Config and click on Users and Groups.
Double click on the user and then click on User DPS Applications.
Ensure that the user has the correct application under the App header.
Make sure that the user has ' MENU0000.XX ' under the First Menu header, replace the Xs with the app code.
Once you have done this, close and re-open DPS and try again. If that does not work, follow the next step.
Ensure that the user has been added to the correct group.
Have your DPS Supervisor open the DPSSQL Config and click on Users and Groups.
Click on Users and Groups in the left column.
Select the group that the user should be part of.
Drag the user from the Available users section to the Users in Section and then click save.
Once you have done this, close and re-open DPS and try again. If that does not work, please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.
User does not have rights to access matter
This means that the creator of the matter has set file security to be enabled for this matter. This means that only the fee earner on the file and the delegated fee earners will be able to access this matter. Please contact the Fee earner on the file to have them add you to the delegated list of users able to access the matter. If you are not able to ask the fee earner then please have a partner request access to this matter on your behalf by raising a new case online and reference the title of this article.
