To create a ZIP file in Windows 10 please follow the steps below:
Highlight the items you want to add to the zip file(ie. files and folders).
Right-click one of the highlighted folder.
Hover mouse over 7-Zip.
Click the option that says "Add to <name>.ZIP".
The zip file should be created and available in the same directory.
An advanced method to create ZIP files are as follows:
Highlight the items you want to add to the zip file(ie. files and folders).
Right-click one of the highlighted folder.
Hover mouse over 7-Zip.
Click the option that says "Add to archive".
A window should appear, set the archive type to "ZIP".
Press OK.
The zip file should be created and available in the same directory.
