Apply a new case or accounts license

Before You Start

πŸ” Permissions
You must be a DPS Supervisor to apply new licences. If you do not have supervisor access, please contact your system administrator or raise a new support case.

πŸ’Ύ DPS file location
Your DPS files are usually located on the F drive, but this may differ depending on your setup.


Apply a New Licence Key

  1. Open File Explorer on the hosted desktop or server.

  2. Go to the root of your DPS files.

    • πŸ’‘ This is often your F: drive (for example, F:\DPSSQL).

  3. Open the DPSSQL folder.

  4. Double-click DPSSQLConfig to launch the configuration application.

  5. Log in with your Supervisor DPS credentials.

  6. In the left-hand panel, click Licence.

  7. In the lower-left panel, use the drop-down list to select the product you want to apply the licence to, for example:

    • Case

    • Accounts

  8. On the right-hand side of the window, click the key icon.

  9. Paste your licence key into the field provided.

  10. Click OK to apply the licence.

Your new licence key is now applied for the selected product. Repeat steps 7–10 if you have additional keys for other products (for example, both Case and Accounts).
