Rename an existing user

To rename an existing user, you'll need to raise a request with us.

To do this, complete the relevant form below and then email it to [email protected].

Note: We'll aim to process these requests within three to five working days.


Non-hosted

To change a user's name within DPS Oneoffice, please follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to the drive where DPS is installed.

  2. Go to the DPSSQL folder.

  3. In this folder, open DPSSQLConfig and log in.
    ​Note: You'll need to be a supervisor to be able to login to this.

  4. At the bottom left corner, click Users and Groups.

  5. From the top left corner, click Users.

  6. In the list, select the user you'd like to rename and on the right of the screen, click Edit.

  7. In this window, within the Name field, input the new name.

  8. Near the bottom of the screen, update the Signature block name and Ask for name fields.
    ​Tip: We recommend to ususingsame name you inputted in step 7.
