This feature purely gives notification to users that a client is on hold when they open up the matter in Case. This does not prevent the posting of WIP or financial transactions to a matter.
Go to File, click Clients. Enter either client name into the Client Name field / or enter client ref into the Reference box, then click the Search magnifying glass.
Double click on the relevant matter that appears, You will now be in the client set up screen, click Credits & Defaults.
Click On Hold. then click Save.
