If you find that Citrix has closes after being inactive for a certain amount of time, this can be due to your power settings on your local machine, please follow the below steps on how to change this setting:

  1. Outside of citrix on your local machine click onto the Start button.

  2. Type Control panel.

  3. Open Control panel and then click System and security.

  4. Under Power options click Change battery options.

  5. Select Change plan setting next to the one that has the radio button ticked.

  6. You will see Turn off the display, Put the computer to sleep on the left and on the top On battery and plugged in and specific lenghts of time, increase these time frames to a more suitable time frame. If you're on a PC this will be the Plugged-in option, if you're on a Laptop then this will be Battery and the Plugged in option.

If you're still having issues after making these changes you may have an internet issue if it's only just started happening, please follow the below steps:

  1. Restart your PC.

  2. Restart your router if working from home.

If the issue persists then please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.
