When a new user is created in the DPSSQLConfig, the user must also be assigned with the Application Codes necessary for them to view matters in DPS One Office.
β
Note: This can only be done by a DPS Supervisor.
If an application code is missing from the user set up, when they try to view a matter, they will see the message 'User does not have rights to access this matter', and they will be unable to view or add data to that matter.
This is not the same as File Security preventing access to a matter.
To resolve this, go into the DPSSQLConfig, select Users and Groups ,
Select the User and click on the tab User DPS Applications.
Under the App column, click in a blank grey line and click on the arrow to select an application code.
In the Grade column, select a grade, or leave it blank.
In the First Menu column, enter MENU0000. followed by the application code selected earlier.
An example would be MENU0000.CW. click OK.
Ask the user to sign out of DPS One Office and sign back in, access is now granted to that matter.
If you are still having issues, please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.
