Re-add a deleted user

When a user is deleted from the DPSSQLConfig, the reports will show values but the user initials, name and or code will be missing.
To add the user back into the DPSSQLConfig, take the following steps:

  1. Log into DPSSQLConfig and select Users and Groups, Users, then click Add.

  2. On the Main Details tab, enter the User Ref initials and insert any other details the deleted user would have had.

  3. Note the Is Active box will be greyed out. Click on the Extended Details tab, the Date Joined Company, will auto display.

  4. Click OK, a message appears "User Ref, User XXX already exists", click X at the top right of the message screen.

  5. Exit and then re-enter the DPSSQLConfig screen, click Users and Groups, Users. Select the User, and on the Main Details screen, the Is Active box, is ticked and highlighted.

  6. In DPS FD, exit and re-enter the Reports menu, the User initials, name and or code will display.
